NAKHL Collection by Don Tanani

The NAKHL Collection is the result of a three-year exploration into the Egyptian Palm Chair, one of the most refined expressions of local craft. In 2022, Don Tanani began studying the chair through processes of dismantling and reconstruction, revealing the precision and interconnectedness of every element. What began as an attempt to deconstruct evolved into a deeper intervention: preserving the chair’s essence while reimagining it through contemporary design, material experimentation, and multidisciplinary collaborations.
