This work explores Upper Egypt’s landscape, where sugarcane industry meets the timeless palm tree. Sugarcane represents modern production; the palm, heritage and continuity. Merging stainless steel forms inspired by sugarcane with the palm chair design, the piece reflects on nature, industry, environmental change, and the evolving politics of agriculture.
